A little background on our company –

Welcome to Maxwell Designs, home to exclusive hand crafted purses, diaper bags and accessories. We are a family run business based in Langley, B.C, Canada and have been in business since 2006.

I first created Maxwell Designs after moving up north from Vancouver. I was getting ready for our first son to be born and I couldn’t find a diaper bag that I liked or that fit my lifestyle. I searched high and low for a bag that wasn’t made of vinyl or plastic and didn’t have a Disney character on it. Alas, I couldn’t find anything so I decided to design and make my own. My bags have been through quite the change over the past 5 years, and after listening to customers needs and wants and continually challenging myself  I believe I have created a product that is not only multi-functional but stylish and practical too.

Now a little about the other faces behind Maxwell Designs…

My partner, Steve (who is the most supportive man I could wish for) and I live in Langley, British Columbia with our two sons, Maxwell (5 yrs old) and Shia (3.5yrs old) – named after the actor Shia La Beouf. We also have a daughter, Chelsea who is 16 years old. I have been designing my own products for 5 years now and I am constantly inspired by my growing family and their ever changing needs and wants.

Since creating a line of hemp bags that are eco-friendly, anti-microbial, and great for our environment I have added Designer Cosmetic Cases, Totes, Hobo Bags, change pads and toy/laundry bags to my line.
